What is the Augusta Iron Rose Society?

What is AIRS?

AIRS is a BDSM group that meets real time for different type events each month. AIRS has many different levels of involvement for people who are interested in BDSM but unsure about becoming physically involved.  We host real time meetings - Casual relaxed socials in a public vanilla setting as well as Meet & Greets held every other month in a public vanilla setting for socializing.

In order to become a member of the e-mail list on YAHOO, there are a few conditions to be met:

First, your online Yahoo profile must include your age, general location and gender.
Second, you must electronically sign the AIRS Online Code of Conduct Agreement and e-mail this back to the appropriate board member.

If you would like to become a real time member of AIRS, you are welcome to attend our monthly Meet & Greet (held on the second Thursday of each month), or you may meet personally with 2 AIRS board members.  This is done in a public setting, such as a restaurant or coffee shop.  At either type of meeting, you will be asked to show a photo I.D. to verify your age.

If you are a member of another lifestyle group, please indicate 1) the group name and 2) the name and email address of a prominent member of that group who can vouch for your member status.  A face-to-face meeting will be waived upon verification of your member status in the reciprocal group.

Once you have been cleared for membership, you will also be asked to sign an Online Code of Conduct agreement.  Once the above conditions have been met, you will become an AIRS Yahoo List member. 

In order to become a Vetted member, you must:

4.  Come out to a minimum of two AIRS events (Meet & Greet or Social) and meet with an AIRS Board member.

What exactly is the Online Code of Conduct?

The Online Code of Conduct determines what you can and cannot do in the Yahoo Group.  The code of conduct form is below.

AIRS members are encouraged to engage in healthy conversations with one another. 

Posts on open forums are excellent avenues for sharing thoughts and opinions.  While we don’t expect everyone to agree with each other, we request that you use common sense and adult behavior at all times.  The following code of conduct must be signed and agreed upon in order for your online privileges to remain.

As a member of the Augusta Iron Rose Society, I will conduct myself in a responsible and respectful manner with regard to the privilege of communicating on an open forum.  I fully understand that inflammatory posts on the open list will not be tolerated.  I will always address fellow members using their preferred or screen names only.  The following consequences will be accepted as a result of non compliance:

1. I may be asked by a moderator to take my current conversation off the open list and continue it in private.
2. I may be placed on moderated status (online posting privileges to the AIRS open list suspended)
a. First offense: 48 hrs.
b. Second offense: 1 week
c. Third offense: I may be asked to leave the group.



I fully understand and accept these guidelines and agree to abide by them.
